Electron Microscopy Sciences Gel-Pak Transparent Hinged Box, 1" x 1" x ¼"
Gel-Box AD Series Carriers owe their unique device-holding capabilities to a proprietary GEL coating applied directly to the bottom of a hinged box. Devices are held once contact is made with the GEL surface and will stay in place, even if the carrier is tilted or jarred. The carriers are designed for manual off-loading with tweezers or by hand. GEL-PAK AD series are ideal for handling devices where no direct contact with the top of the device is important.
The GEL-BOX Carriers may also be used for bare die handling, such as GaAs, PETs, laser diodes, and beam-lead devices where the die size is small (less than 1 mm) and tweezers or other specialized techniques are used for off-handling.
We offer standard retention level X4.

Tek-Select Type 8 Biopsy Cassettes offer a special hinge holding the base and cover together. This hinge allows cassettes to be opened and closed as often as necessary. The lid can be removed and re-inserted easily without danger of specimen loss. Three frosted writing surfaces are easy to write on, including the 45 deg. angle anterior face. The Tissue-Tek Uni-Cassette with lid has a smooth, single action, fracture-back hinge that allows the cassette to fracture when closed, and then break smoothly with no difficulty. This product features a unique design of raised spacer nubs in order to keep the space between the cassettes for better exchange of processing reagents. The cassette also has a wider, thicker finger tab that not only lessens the strain on operators finger, but also makes the opening of the lid less complicated. It also features an oversize writing surface that permits easy organization and identification. This product is sold in the case of 1500.
